go with the flow

I was driving 12 hours from Ottawa to New Brunswick and there was a snow storm about 8 hours into the drive. It was dark, we had summer tires on the car... so, it was really safe. I REALLY just wanted to get to our destination but was forced to get a hotel room in the middle of nowhere. Annoying at first but turned out to be a really fun, odd night in a cabin type hotel. What I'm trying to say is, when life hands you a snow storm with bald summer tires, turn it into a beer drinking fun time in a weird cabin in a random town.
